Sprint Zio Shutting Down When I Remove The SD Card?

I just got the ZIO and wanted to know if anyone else has had a problem with it shutting down when you remove the SD card. If I re-insert the card while the phone is on, it reads the card and the phone stays on. Any help here? or did I just get a bad device?

Yes, I also have same issue. As far as I understand this phone does not have "hot swappable" sd card removal. This basically means, the phone relies on the SD card being in the unit, like an extra slot of RAM in a computer (which you cannot take out while computer is on), if you take it out, it will reboot and configure without it. You just will not be able to swap them out on the go.

Yeah, I kind of figured that was the case. The lady on the phone at Sprint had no clue, and told me it was a problem with my phone in particular. Oh well, I guess I need to find the drivers for Windows 7. Thanks friend.
