I actually like the round face. It doesn't make me think Apple watch every time I Iook at my wrist. There's something very harsh looking about a rectangle face to me. So much for the infamous rotating bezel.

Oh well, change is inevitable...

I always like squared watches. Might be a good replacement for the Galaxy watch 4.

I went from the 5 to the 6 Classic specifically so I could get the rotating bezel back. Square/rectangle doesn't sound appealing in the least. And the look of the Pixel watch just doesn't cut it for me. We'll see.

Why not, Samsung has been doing plenty of copying from apple lately.. Might as well copy the square face too. I've used both, using the apple ultra now and for me the square face is better.

I went from the 5 to the 6 Classic specifically so I could get the rotating bezel back. Square/rectangle doesn't sound appealing in the least. And the look of the Pixel watch just doesn't cut it for me. We'll see.

I jumped from the 3 to the 6 Claasic once I heard the rotating bezel had returned. I'm not into the Pixel either, being a long time Samsung user. Hopefully, they'll have a choice we like.

Ugh, no square watches for me. I like the traditional watch look. I don't want an iPad on my wrist. I love my Watch 6, but if they switch to square faces I'll just go back to a regular dumb watch.

Well that sucks. I would have looked at buying one of those but they didn't have LTE support. I enjoy leaving my phone behind to much, LTE is a must, so I was forced to Samsung or apple.

I was one that always said round watch is best, so did my wife. We both have apple watches and we both have said the square face displays messages and other things better. I swap between apple and Samsung, currently sporting apple. There are plenty of square non smart watches out there, despite what apple thinks they didn't invent the square watch.

I hope Samsung stays with round so I can experience differences when I switch around. The way Samsung has been copying apple lately I fear this leak could be true.

I think it's fine if Samsung offers another activity device with square design to compete with Fitbit or similar products, but their sales will likely tank if they drop what has become their traditional approach in a round case with rotating bezel for the Galaxy Watch.

If they wanted to change anything (and I'm on record saying they probably shouldn't) maybe add a crown so that when we rotate the bezel, screen selections can be made tapping the crown. What I'm getting at is a method which allows us to bypass touching the display altogether if/when we choose.

This would be nice when I'm exercising and my hands/fingers are sweaty.

Not a horrible idea. Maybe offer the classic round and a square face.
