In all of my years of having mobile devices I've not had very many issues, but when I did all I had to do was go to my carriers store for a replacement, with an unlocked device you don't have that luxury.

I've been looking into getting a Square Trade Warranty as a "just in case" and was wondering if anyone else had gone this route? I paid $625 for my GN and if it does have an issue or I "oops" it to the ground, its nice to have some coverage.
I've never used Square Trade before as I had always paid the higher price thru AT&T for coverage, so I was wondering if anyone else had ever gone this route?

TIA

I just purchased my square trade warranty it was 69.00 I did it for a year since android comes out with new phones so fast I figure we would have a new nexus by then and I could sell this one to get the new one.

I think I will go that route as well, for $69 plus a $99 dollar deductible, well worth it for a $600 phone ;)

Pulled the trigger and purchased the Square Trade Warranty for 1 year for $69.00 with a $99.00 deductible.
Was very easy to do online and seems to cover everything from hardware/software issue repairs, to drops and water damage.
You will need to have a copy of your receipt handy if you need repair service - I scanned mine in and emailed it to CS, and it is now part of my file that I can see online with my warranty.

Hope I don't ever need it but is a good "just in case" investment in my mind on a phone that cost me $620.00 to buy with no real US warranty other than 30 days from Amazon.

Great glad it was easy for you I do all my warranty through them.
