Wonder if anyone can help me. I have a new Star N9599 which I tried to install CWM and it bricked it. I was only able to get into the stock Android system recovery and the issue is..... I can boot into the android os however when the screen dims and turns off after a minute or I press the power button to turn off the screen the phone goes into a boot loop, loads up the os to the point where I can swipe the lockscreen open and then it reboots. The only way for me to get into the phone is to clear the eMMC and boot it up, change the screen timeout to 30mins and I can use it normally until the screen turns off. I've tried so much to fix this phone but no luck. Not really sure that the issue is and if it can be sorted. Someone help I've spent days trying to sort this.
The only progress I have made was to follow this guide Flash CWM Recovery To MTK Phones Without SP Flash Tool which I did and it flashed into something that looks like CWM but its in chinese so I dont know which options are to flash a rom I managed to find online.
