Start up and shut down sounds

ok guys i love my intercept but i hate that person screaming virgin mobile every time i start it up it anyway to get rid of those ? i have the temp root program . thanks in advance or any help .

Actually I just found this! Under settings/soundd and display/system sounds. Its a volume control just for the startup and shutdown 'virgin mobile' sound as well as the screesn click volume. You can't change the sounds, but you can turn it all the way down. It won't affect your volume on ringer, notifications, etc. Hope that helps!

There is also an app from the market called silent boot.

i used z4 temp root and root explorer to replace the startup and shut down sounds with ones i made . much better
