Startup sequence?

I was wondering what people see right after the thunderbolt logo goes away on the cloud opening. Mine normally does the little animation and then it disappears and stays on the dark clouds until it starts. I did a reset today and instead of staying on the clouds alone it brought back the Thunderbolt logo and 4g symbol at the bottom right and that stayed until startup. Any idea why it was different. I can not get it to stay anymore after restart so it was only that one time. I was on with verizon earlier and the lady mentioned that if it finds 4g service during that time the logo appears but if not you just get dark clouds. Can anyone confirm what they get? I am in a 3g area so it makes sense. Can someone try from 4g and someone else from a non 4g area?

I'm in a 3G only area, Austin TX, and mine stays on the dark clouds after the animation.

I don't think it matters. I'm in a solid LTE area and it goes to the clouds only after the animation. It really doesn't matter though. It may have just had a "hiccup" one time.

Yeah you are probably right. I just remembered though it did it after I rooted and then again when I flashed back to stock. It is definitely not a fluke and is a set picture and it looks a bit different from the animation so its there for a reason but maybe it only triggers on resets?
