Status bar after 7.1.1 update

After updating to 7.1.1 yesterday, the status bar across the very top is now "hiding" until I touch the home screen or other activity. Before the update it used to display all the time, which is what I want, but I can't seem to find the setting to prevent it from "hiding"....UPDATE... I figured out that it was a Nova Launcher setting... I had to turn on "show notification bar".

Thanks for posting! I also have Nova Launcher and am downloading 7.1.1 right now.
