Steel sides a little slippery....

Is anyone else having this concern? It seems like it's a little slippery and I'm trying to take care of it with kid gloves to where it won't fall out of my hands. Case?

I'm feeling the same way about the slippery steel sides.
I know it is very tough and durable but I don't like any nicks or scratches on my phones and dropping it will do some damage no matter how tough it is.

I am going to suck it up and get a case for this gorgeous phone.

Agree on the slick feel of the phone.
I really like the thin profile, so looking for an extremely thin case that will add some grip.
Haven't seen one yet that will fit the bill, but still looking.

They do feel a bit slippery but in such a large phone I usually have contact with the back which as you know whas a nice feel. I'm waiting on the wireless back to be released/available. I rarely use a cover and the V10 rates pretty high in drop tests.

I find them extremely slippery. I didnt want to lose the looks by using a case so I used some 3M carbon fiber tape and cut out some strips and slapped them on the sides. Still looks great and less slippery.

Stainless steel is covered with chromium oxide and when scratched, the chromium underneath reacts with oxygen from the air and heals the scratch, preventing further damage.
