Stereo bluetooth headset issue

I bought a Motorolla s9 HD the other day and while it works great I have this issue that when I try and change tracks or play/pause a song in the default music app all of the sudden all music apps go crazy and start playing at the same time?

For example, I will be listening to a song using the default music app and I will hit the change song button on the headset and all of the sudden google listen will start playing a podcast over my music?

Anyone else had an issue like this?

Hmmm I have an s9 hd and have never had this happen. I use doubletwist player tho.

That's so annoying! I've switched to museek. Had some "interesting" features but it takes over the AD2P controls nicely. Pandora works when it's playing, museek works when it's playing.

Before when I was testing music players, 3, mixzing, a couple others I can't recall right now. They'd often get confused at to what should be doing what.
Mixzing was the "worst" IMO since it would start playing whenever it connected by AD2P and there was no way to stop.

Try museek.

Wow good call on the Museek. I'm liking it so far and it's working great with my headset. I like the layout of this app. Thanks for the suggestion.

Are you using Google listen for podcast by any chance? If so this issue has been mentioned on Google's forums. Not sure about any other apps. And also don't recall if it was google's update or HTC's that caused the issue.

I use stock player and mixxzing. Both are working great with my jaybird headset - I do prefer mixxzing because of the equalizer capabilities though. today i was listening to one of my fav internet station on zradio and accidentally touched play control on my headset and it started playing mixxzing right over that station. I guess you just have to exit one music player completely, so it wouldn't get confused

And that's the problem. Wait until you connect, hit play and these 3 songs playing.

Funny, I have the same Moto headset and use it with the stock music app often with no problems whatsoever. I did have a previous pair of S9HD I had to return do to behavior that sounds similar to what you describe, it happened on my Treo Pro. After the exchange I had no such problems with this new pair.

In my case it was a problem with the headset itself.

I would use the default app and when I would hit play google listen would all of the sudden start playing a random podcast. I would change songs and google listen would just freak out in the background.

Since switching to Museek I haven't had the issue.

my plantronics bluetooth stereo headset is not working properly once I updated to 2.2, the issue is once I answer a call on the headset all the buttons stop working. very annoying
