The sticker on my standard battery that tells you if it has gotten wet has turned red. The battery has been no where near water or moisture. Whether or not this is related or not, using that battery my phone won't power up. I have 2 batteries, but it's crazy one has quite working unexpectedly. Is there anything besides water that can mess up that sticker?

I'm getting it replaced by Verizon, and don't want them to say I got it wet when I didn't.

High humidity, having it in the bathroom (such as when taking a shower) going from extreme cold to warm could possibly do it...

touching the battery if your hands are sweaty

Just some ideas

What jrocker23 said.

Even heavy breathing in the back seat of a '57 Olds on a cold night could cause it! :D
