'Sticky' home button?

Does anyone experience a sticky home button on the S4?

What I mean is this:

When I depress on the left 1/3 of the home button, it doesn't give the normal tactile 'click' feel. Rather, I get a mushy press that seems to go deeper than normal. I could probably live with it, but still it's kinda annoying for a new phone!

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?

I had this issue with the sgsiii. I had to exchange it since it's a hardware defect

Had it with my s3 but it was so rare I didn't care too much about it

Sounds like a manufacturing defect. Probably best to just take it back and ask for a replacement.

I guess I'll try to live it with for now and see if I can keep my OCD in check. Thing is, for some reason I keep getting 'lemons', and since my panel is perfect so far and everything else works fine, I guess it's just a small niggle :/

I also had it with my S3 and return it for a new one with the issue. I always chalked it up to the shape of the home button. It has never happended to my Note 2 and I was glad to see the button shape on the S4 was similar to the note 2. I guess yours is defective.

So the button isn't supposed to make any noise at all?

I had the same issue with (2 now) of my Galaxy S4's. All I did was hold the phone in place on my desk back of the phone on the surface of the desk and hit the home button hard(er) than normal about 20x over and now it's back to normal and doesn't stick or make noise. Hope this helps.

I have the same issue with a sticky s4 home screen button. Looking around there's suggestions that flying, ie pressure or hot weather causes it. Mine also comes and goes, but I won't accept that for a product I paid nearly ?700 for. I have registered a fault with Samsung, suggest you do the same.

Seeing similar thing on Note 3. It stays down and with a audible click pops back a second later. Doesn't respond to double click sometimes because it sticks down.
