Still a good phone to buy?

Hi,
I am thinking of switching carriers from att, coverage sucks.
I have an iphone 3gs and a 4.
So thinking an android is the way to go.
Im an outdoorsman, so this model seems attractive.

Any reason why i shouldnt but it?
Any negatives you can share?
Any rumored Casios in the works?

Had mine 2 months and still diggin' it. By all means come over to the best coverage provider in the usa tho. You will be amazed where you can surf the web or make that call.

What is it that you like? What do you miss?

See my thread I just posted here...I'm seriously considering the Commando over the Incredible 2 for my first Android / smartphone.

I just switched from my droid 2 and since my Commando doesn't have all those unneeded apps I loaded into my droid 2 I think it is actually FASTER! I don't know about rooting though, I know it has been done successfully. As for Kayaking? The choice is Commando or some waterproof holders for that HTC. I am not regretting my choice at all.
