still having issues with my evo after 2.3 update , help!!

last week I updated my EVO , everything went fine except now my notifications do not work , nothing blinks letting me know about whatever , text msg, email , missed phone call. not even plugged to be charged nothing . OH and the battery, I use my evo for less than 10 mins and im already at 1/2 on battery power and i use an app to reserve it still nothing. Also , my evo feels like its going to overhead and explode . I love my evo and im quite sad that the things that i rely on are gone. which isn't fair considering i didnt see any big changes in the update that are worth the things ive lost which i could continue to list but will not. anyway anyone still having issues? and yes ive rebooted and reinstalled the update still nothing. if i make any changes i have to reboot any order for them to work!! wth!:'(
