Still having touch screen issues

I'm constantly having to double tap anything I want to do because my screen never recognizes the first tap. 1 year with the phone and this is still happening. Its aggravating

Yeah...swiping while texting or emailing is horrible. At this point between the lousy MM update, wifi issues, touch screen, and whatever else I'm praying for the bootloop issue so I can justify moving on.

I'll probably stay away from LG for a few phone upgrades.

There are times when my screen will go completely unresponsive to my inputs. My VS 986 is on MM, but I seem to remember this issue before, as well. I lock the device, and it resumes responding. I also updated with VzW OTA this week, but I believe that was just a security patch.

Most of the time, my G4 works quite well and makes me glad to own it. Of course, after a few replacement devices (all refurbs) I also now possess four OEM batteries, it's hard to think of replacing the G4 in the near future. But these issues are quite vexing, and make me contemplate even going back to iOS and the iPhone (which I haven't owned since September 2011). I don't want to go back to iOS; I like what Android is all about, and love the removable battery. But sometimes the defects in the Android devices is really inexcusable.
