Still hearing notification sounds on phone.

I have the "mute connected phone option" enabled and I still hear notification sounds for anything I "feel" through my watch.

What phone do you have? I have a feeling some of these options will only work with a Samsung phone.

Galaxy s10 plus. My s9 plus never had notification sounds come thru the phone whilst I was wearing my galaxy watch.

My LG does. They will both go of split seconds apart. I haven't tried the option I mentioned. I could pair with my wife's S10 but it would annoy her. She's a Fitbit user only.

Probably not the solution you are looking for, but I put my phone on vibrate. With the phone muted option which you've mentioned, I then get a notification buzz just on my wrist. The phone doesn't buzz (or make a sound, obviously). This is exactly how I want it.
