Still no 1440p on YouTube app??

Google pls give us 1440p and 1440p 60fps already! With the amount of Android devices that have 1440p displays, im surprised we still dont have the option on the app.

It's not YouTube that determines the video quality. It's the specific uploader/channel. I see 1,440p videos for Marques Brownlee and Android Central's channel

You're right. Totally forgot about that. 1440p 60fps then.

I agree. 60fps tops out at 1080p. Though I imagine some phone's (perhaps 1st gen 1440p phone's?) maybe can't handle 60fps in that resolution? I thought I read somewhere that the chip inside my old note 4 could only handle 30fps at greater than 1080p res. But I could be wrong.
