Anybody else still waiting for 4.1.2 on their phones? I figured it would have rolled out to everyone by now, but I'm still sitting on 4.1.1.

I have it on my phone. Have you tried to update manually?

I haven't used it myself, but I've seen posts that lead me to believe that you can use the Kies software on your desktop/laptop to initiate a firmware update. Sorry I can't be more specific about where to look or what steps to follow, but you may want to try installing the Kies software and see if something obvious shows up.

No update for me either and Kies does not work on a Verizon GSIII. I asked Verizon and the first person recommended a factory data reset. WRONG! The second person I spoke with said DO NOT do a factory data reset and that the roll out was controlled by Google and I'd get it, eventually. Not sure I believe that either, but I'll wait. In the meantime, my wife received it on her GSIII the day it was released and it's really not big whoop.

I had my SIM card replaced and received the update within an hour. My account showed that I had an iPad on my line instead of an s3. They couldn't fix without SIM change. So that may not be your issue, but it may be worth a try. It only took 10 minutes to get it changed.

Well, my wife and I both just got the s3 about a week and a half ago, and we did them both at the same time. She got the update notification as soon as the phone was activated. I just checked the My Verizon site and both show up correctly. Guess I just need to learn to wait. And honestly, I know it won't really make a ton of difference. Although hers does seem to have better battery life, but that could just be usage.

i have it. could not tell the difference

You shouldn't believe it. Once Google supplies source for a release, which they did a long time ago, the rest of the schedule is controlled by the carrier. Verizon has a long history of being the slowest of the US carriers to release updates.

Have not gotten it yet on one of two phones purchased last week..

I bought this phone on Wednesday, and the update was sitting there waiting for me.
