anyone still haven't been able to connect to the AT&T servers and update to 4.1.2? i understand its not a huge jump but i want it and i dont quite get why its not available for everyone. any solutions?

I tried kies the day of the update and it said I was up to date. Haven't tried since then. Might soon

Kies will come after awhile. For 4.1.1 there was a 6 timeframe between Kies and OTA. I think it will come out in late August or early September.

I did the check on Tuesday, said it was available, did the update, and not a single problem. Battery life is a bit better, and Bluetooth pairing is improved(devices that would not pair with 4.1.1 pair fine with 4.1.2).

I checked Kies this afternoon and still not available. However, I was finally able to update over wifi. Took around 30 mins though.

Yes, it literally took like 5 mins for it to check if there was an update. Then a message popped up saying an update was available via wifi. Then it probably took closer to 40 mins to download and install the update. I'm in North Florida so perhaps they haven't rolled it out to your area yet. I now understand why others have said that the update doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. I wouldn't be surprised if you get the update the next time you check. Good luck.

That's crazy that you don't have the update yet. I thought I heard that on the 7th customers who hadn't updated yet would begin receiving notifications to update? That obviously doesn't seem to be the case.

OTA updates are typically done in batches, and could take up to a few weeks to complete.
