Still waiting for 893

Is anyone out there still waiting for 893? Is verizon/moto still telling people to be patient and it's still coming or can I conclude there is something wrong with my phone and I need to try the factory reset option?

PS: When i go in to search for updates, it says my phone is up to date (ie: I'm not getting the error about not being able to check for updates).

Try to power off your phone, pull the SIM card, reinsert it and power back on. Once this is done, see if the update will appear. If this doesn't work, call support and they should be able to manually push that update to your phone.

What version are you currently running? Have you or did you ever install a leaked update? Have you changed ANYTHING that would make your system non-stock?

Update: I got the 893 update magically on 1/1. I was rooted and had frozen a couple of apps with Titanium Backup, but unfroze everything while waiting for the update. I guess they are still rolling them out because I didn't do anything specifically that made the update come through. Thanks for your help.

Unless you brick your phone like me and spend a few hours fixing that . But yeah, .901 is great, amazingly rock solid connection all day, but I drained my battery down during one of my classes, so I'm not sure how well the battery is.
