Is there any way to download podcasts/shows with Stitcher for use when you don't have a data connection? I have a 2013 Chevy Spark with the Chevy MyLink Radio and it has Stitcher intergation, so I can control my phone's (AT&T Note) stitcher app from my head unit, but about half of myt 70 mile round trip daily commute is spent in remote mountains where there isn't a single carrier who even has voice coverage, let alone data. So, I'd really love to be able to download or cache my podcasts and shows for use when I don't have coverage, and I'd really love to do this with Stitcher because I don't like using my phone while driving (plus its illegal) and Stitchers intergration with my head unit is the perfect solution to that.

Well, I emailed Stitcher Support/Feature Requests and within 5 minutes had a response from them, here is what they said:

Stitcher said:
Hi James,
It is great to hear you are able to use Stitcher in your Spark. Thank
so much for listening.
Yes, offline listening is one of our most popular feature requests and
something we're actively working on for a future release - stay tuned!
All the best,
Rachel

So it looks as though the feature is coming, and sooner than later.

Well, its 10 months later and I see this on the site:
Can I listen to my playlists offline with Stitcher on my Android?
Listen to your shows anywhere, regardless of whether you have a wireless connection. Set any of your playlists to be available offline and these lists will automatically update in the background, making them accessible for listening whether you’re on a plane, in the subway or riding your bike in the middle of nowhere. Stitcher is set up by default to only download when Wi-Fi is available so you don’t need to worry about excessive data usage. To manage your Offline Listening preferences, go into the Stitcher app's settings and select Offline Listening. To clear the amount of storage used by downloads and cached episodes, select Clear All Downloads.

I just got a car with the Chevy MyLink radio as well. I would really like to use Stitcher so that I don't have to fiddle with my phone while I'm driving (I currently use PocketCasts).

Here's what I would like to do, and I can't figure out how to get Stitcher to do it:

I would like to have a list of podcasts that I subscribe to. When a new episode comes out, I'd like the app to automatically download the new episode and put it on the END of my playlist. I would like to play back the episodes in the order they arrive (ie: oldest to newest, switching podcasts as I go).

PocketCasts does this beautifully. It seems like the most basic of ways to listen to podcasts to me, but it seems like Stitcher wants me to only listen to the newest episode, which means if I don't get a chance to listen this week, I miss this week's episode.

Any ideas? Or am I stuck?
