Stock Android .apk?

Is there any .apk file to download to get the stock Android keyboard on another phone like the Evo?

I think (THINK) that if you just long press a place where you can enter text, it will pop up with a box labeled 'Input Options.' If the EVO is like my (rooted/rom'd) Incredible, then you can change to the Android keyboard there.

I've got just a stock 2.2 Evo. I have Swift Key and Swype keyboards already but it doesn't have the stock option, just the HTC stock.
