Peace All,

I am currently in the process of deciding whether to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and wanted to know if it had a dedicated book reader app (NOT Kindle or NooK app)--> similar to HTC's Flyer that had the KOBO eReader built into its OS , along with the capability to implement notes using the S-Pen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Kobo app is available in the Google play store. Also, the Note 10.1 comes with Google book and I've downloaded Kindle and and FBReader. There is a text book app from Samsung called Kno that will let you write on text books. You might look that up and see if it does what you'd like with the format you use.

I'm using Aldiko Book Reader on Mine right now and also was trying Cool Reader. Both in the Google Play store. Right now I'm liking Aldiko, just because it shows an actual bookshelf of your books, which I liked from IBooks, when I had my IPad 3. Cool Reader has some good animations and is good also, from what I saw playing with it. As said above, I believe the Note has Google Books and the Nook app included on it.
