Stock browser - is there a way to disable windows?

Ok, so this has been bugging me for awhile. I never use the multiple windows to switch between Web pages. They constantly pop up when I click on links and its gets annoying to get that message that I can't open a page because it's full (or whatever the message is). I just want to be able to click on links and not open new windows. Is that possible? I get that message several times a day and it gets pretty annoying. Thanks.

I can't seem to find a way but that doesn't mean much. The only option I see is to allow other windows to open behind and not in front of other ones. One option would be try a different browser. Not sure but they may have other choices to alter how you view multiple pages.
