Stock Camera Question

I just got my Nexus 5 a day or so ago (coming from the Nexus 4). In the stock camera app, I am unable to zoom. On the Nexus 4 I could "pinch" out and in to zoom, but it doesn't work on the Nexus 5. Is zooming no longer a feature of this? This seems more a software than hardware issue because when I try to use that gesture, the menu comes up.

Any ideas of what's going on here?

Pinch zoom does not seem to work when in HDR mode. Tap the funky icon at the bottom right of the camera screen, then tap "HDR" to disable it. Pinch zoom should work now.

Thanks, you're right! Wonder why though. The pinch zoom worked with HDR on the N4. Something about HDR+ I guess.
