stock Captivate music player via bluetooth

My Captivate works fine over my car radio system when using the phone.It finds it and connects fine.When I put the radio in audio bluetooth mode and play something on the stock music player the radio never sees it.My iphone before this worked fine doing this.Is it that the Captivate doesn't send the signal over bluetooth ?Or am I doing something wrong?I'd like to play Pandora over the car radio from my Captivate but at a loss how.It works if I cord it from earphone jk to aux. in on the radio.Is there a way to go bluetooth?Any thoughts would be great,thanks.

I stream Pandora through my car BT system fine. On my car, it required an additional step when I was pairing my phone to the system to enable BT Audio... I had to enable it, or it would just use the phone system.

Go through the pairing process again and see if there is an additional step to turn on the audio portion.

I would have said that perhaps your car does not have BT audio, but if your iphone worked, your Captivate should. I checked to be sure, and Android has supported AD2P since 1.6 version, so you SHOULD be able to get it going.

I will try to connect it again as you say.I'll call Crutchfield tech sup to see if they have any ideas also.Not sure if this JVC radio only supports iphone equip or not.Thanks for the help

so far i can get the radio to play,rev ,fwd and stop the music player on the phone only.Sound never comes thru the car radio system.This is a JVC AHD39 unit.Making the music player work on the phone only is pretty worthless!Have to go back to iphone or new radio?

If you have the manual for the stereo deck, I would see if it is AD2P compliant. If it is a iphone only device, well, then iphone only. AD2P is the BT audio standard, so if you buy a new deck, make sure you get one that is AD2P.

If you have AUX input available, the car dock is an option.

Tried this all again from a fresh start.....turned b/t off on the Cappy and restarted it with the radio unit in the suv on and it sync up like always...started Pandora and it worked!!!!!Streams to the unit perfect!!Everything streams like it should.Don't know for sure what fixed it but now I don't need to go back to iphone! Thanks for your help on this issue.
