Stock Email App

I have been using it recently after my trial of touchdown ended, and I have a few questions...

1 - How do I view emails older than 1 month? It's the furthest it can go in the settings. Is there a way to see emails back farther?

2 - Can I get rid of the PIN feature that I have? It's so frustrating to have to enter it after I've unlocked my phone? If there's not a way to do this (which I really hope so), then how am I able to change it. I'd just put it as four 1's - that'd be easier than fishing for other buttons.

3 - I've seen others recommend maildroid or K-9. My work email is exchange, and is pretty secure - would either of these be able to handle it? I hate downloading just to try if someone knows.

are you talking about the gmail or the other email app? my gmail will go back several months. i havent used the regular email app. also try posting this on the app section of the forum, there is a larger audiance there as its made up of every phone, you might have better luck there. either way let us know what you find out.

I posted it here, because I think all the phone's stock email apps (listed in the title - not the gmail one) slightly differ, so I thought I would go to the people with the same setup. Thanks again in advance for any additional help that could be provided.

If I recall correctly, (haven't used the stock email app in months) there's a button at the bottom of your list of emails to load more. Does that get you further back than a month?

As far as k-9 working for you, it shouldn't have any problems. I have a similar setup to yours as well.
