Is there any way to change it to a black backround?

I was recently watching some how to videos on YouTube and there stock email backround was black. I can't find a setting for that anywhere.

don't know. got the link to the youtube video?

also, there's an option to basically reverse the colors of the screen although that's for all apps. go to system settings > accessibility > negative colors (check the box). could this be what you're seeing?

I'm rooted, how do you change the color to black?

You have to have a roof level file manager. But you make a change to the feature.xml file. I am not responsible if someone does it wrong!

You go to system
Then to csc
Then look for feature.xml
Save a copy of the file in another location in case anything goes wrong
Look for the email section
You will see the line that ends in true that states color white
Change that to false
Save the file
Reboot
You will have dark email for the Samsung email application

Hi MatroxD

My phone is rooted, I installed ES file explorer but when i go into device, system, csc - there are no options for "features.xml"
I only see customer.xml, language.xml, others.xml, sales_code.dat, default_workspace.xml

What am I doing wrong?
