Stock Email Sent Folder

Everything seems to be working fine in stock email except one thing. When I send or reply to an email, it disappears. I know it sends, but there is no record of it in any of the sent folders. In the inbox, it shows that an email was responded to, but it doesn't exist on my device. It is not view-able in sent folder from any other device like my computer on IMAP either.

The email makes it to its destination so it's not the end of the world. However, I do like to have a record of what I send from my S6. Any ideas or am I basically in the dark?
 
I've just checked mine and can see all the emails I've sent.

I have 4 email accounts all streamed through the stock app and all seam perfectly fine.

To see sent, from a particular email address:
Under accounts, click on the down triangle
Select the account which the email was sent from
View the sent folder

Understood. Thanks for trying. Even if I do that an email sent from S6 is not seen in the sent folder anywhere (phone or computer). This is an edu account run by gmail. There are actually two sent folders seen in the drop down under it (assume one is for phone (blank) and other for gmail (see emails sent from another device). The outgoing server is not a gmail one like the incoming. This could be the issue although it doesn't affect any other devices.

Another Yahoo email works fine. It is very strange.
