Don't see a setting for it myself in stock,but all sorts of themes if you use an app

I'm sure there is a way to edit the XML file or whatever controls the appearance if you are rooted. For instance, I just got rid of the Android robot that appears during unknown calls or calls to/from contacts with no contact picture. Replaced it with the stock contacts pic that is in the Contacts app. If you can identify the correct file I'm sure you can replace or edit it.
