Stock messenger app is not making any notification sounds

I just noticed that my messenger app sounds and vibration is not working checked all settings and everything is on anyone else has this problem?

What's the issue? You got it working and need it not to, or it's not working and you need it to? Title and comment are two different issues.

I think in your comments, you meant to say "....sounds and vibration is NOT working...."

If that's the case, are you getting the notification at the top of your screen and on the lockscreen or no messenger notifications at all?

There are sound volume controls in a few areas to check: first is obvious - volume key on the left side of the phone. Other is go into the notification panel, choose sound, go to volume and check the volume levels there (there's a toggle for controlling volume for Ringtone, Media, Notificaitons, System, and Bixby Voice.

Yea I've checked everything no matter what I do when I text comes in it doesn't make a sound or doesn't vibrate
