Stock Photon mail app issue and ?

Howdy

I'm having an issue with my aol account on the default app. It is constantly having problems connecting to the imap server, or it tells me the user name pw is wrong. Seems to happen more when I switch networks ie join 4g or leave wifi. I am also using k9, and that app has no problems connecting.

The question I have is this: is there a way to jump to the next unread message? On my blackberry, I just hit u and it would jump to the oldest unread message. I can't seem to find a way on the default app.

Nobody has any insight into going to your next unread message? My AOL issue seems to have sorted itself out.

I figured out how to view unread messages. Under the email settings for the account, go to List View Options, then select change view. Select Unread and all new messages will then be at the top.

Just wish there was an easier way with less steps, but at least I figured it out.
