Stock weather widget

When I unlock my phone the weather usually updates itself but since the software update when I unlock my phone I have to tap the widget, open it up,and then hit the refresh button for it to update. I find it extremely annoying!
When I select settings in the weather menu i can not select for it to "Update Automatically".
I went to the store and the sales associates are completely cluess!!
Someone Please Help!!!

You should be able to tell it to autosync weather, what does your autosync options show for weather?

If you mean auto sync by selecting menu, settings, accounts & sync, selecting weather, sync now

You might also try: Menu | Settings | Applications | Manage Applications | Running | HTC weather sync provider | Select Clear Data - retest.

Assuming that you're using the clock/weather widget, tap on the weather. When it opens, tap on Menu, Settings, and you'll see the update options.

I wish the stock weather widget provided more info. Maybe an option to open in browser to get details. But, it doesn't give a lot of weather info.
