Stolen Phone App that Self Installs from the SD Card?

I read there are stolen phone tracking apps that you can install on a Micro SD card, that self-installs if the phone is stolen and wiped/reset.

I can not find anything online though, anyone familiar or know the name of one? Even if it is a premium app?

I have a Galaxy S8.

Just so you know, if someone were to steal your phone, they would not be able to do a factory reset and use it for themselves, because Google's Factory Reset Protection will ask for your Google account and password.

You can also use Google's Find My Device to track the phone and send a remote lock or wipe command: https://support.google.com/android/answer/6160491?hl=en

Hi,

yes Google Find my device is perfect tool that can help you out. As per my research or knowledge this is the best tool ever. All other tools are **** and never help you as compare to this.
