Hey guys wondering if anyone has a solution to this

I started doing a lot of video recording with my phone (social media/vlogs etc) and my phone some times stops recording entirely messing up whatever I was recording until I stop the app that interfered

Is there an easier way instead of turning on Do Not Disturb? I sometimes forget to do that and end up losing footage I need/having to start over

Thanks Guys

Get Tasker. Set Tasker to automatically turn on Do Not Disturb if camera app is active, and automatically turn it off when camera app is exited.

I've never used tasker before and I see its $3 would there be a easier (and free?) way? like adding camera to game mode or something silly like that?

Well you can probably do that. I just bought Tasker years ago and use it for stuff like this. It's got more uses than this anyway, automating a lot of stuff on the phone. Tasker is worth more than $3 for what it can do.

If you want to add it to Game Mode, just open Game Launcher and add the camera app as a game.

Sorry to seem dumb. I've downloaded TASKER but can't see how to achieve 'turn on do not disturb'. I only see blank screens on profiles, tasks etc. Thanks.

You create a profile where you choose camera app. Then you create a task for that profile where you setup that when you enter that app, that task activates. The task you set is to turn on do not disturb.
It's better if you try and look on Youtube on Tasker tutorials. It's a pretty steep learning curve, but it can do so much.
