Stop Galaxy S9+ from opening to dialer

I do not want my phone to open to the dialer. It is a Galaxy S9+

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that when you unlock the phone from the lockscreen, it goes directly to the Phone app's dialer? If so, make sure you're not unlocking the screen by swiping in from a side or bottom corner -- that may be triggering a shortcut that takes you directly to the Phone dialer.

If it's happening on accident from lock screen go to settings>lock screen>turn short cut off
