Stop vibrating, jerk

Since the new update, I can't get the gmail app to have notifications on without vibrating. I went under the label settings and under notifications the vibrate box is unchecked, but it is still vibrating. If I turn off notifications, then it stops vibrating but it also doesn't blink.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Instead of going to the individual label settings, try going to the main Settings (of the Gmail app), then tap your Gmail account, then tap "Inbox sound & vibrate," and uncheck Vibrate.

I was actually about to post about the same issue. However, I'm getting a vibration for EVERY notification... including Gmail, Facebook, and Play store updates. The vibrate options of each app are turned off and I can't find any global 'vibrate on notification' setting.

Welcome to Android Central! Under System Settings/Sound, try turning off Vibrate When Ringing, if that's an option. It may be under the Ringtone area.
