New member here. Longtime WinMo user and quite adept at it too.
Just bought each kid a droid phone. One has the Samsung Captivate and the other the HTC Aria....both ATT.
Doing a lot of reading and trying to understand how to tweak these phones the way I have my WinMo's
Since both kids are on minimal data plans I want to be sure that the apps they have dl'ed are not constantly pulling data, and if they are, now to shut them down unless opened. For example, news feeds, sports sites, weather, etc....
