For each app there is a storage and cache location.
You can see these at settings>apps>individual app..... from there you can force stop the app, uninstall the app, clear the storage and cache, etc

Anyone know how to backup the storage/cache to an SD card?

Thanks.....

Cache is the last thing you want to backup. The majority of the time you want to clear it if anything. The cache data is constantly being updated as you use the app.

Data/Storage is phone dependent. Samsung Tablet lets me move apps and by extension the data (pretry sure) and mayyyybe the cache.

The only true way to do what you want is a backup with a root app. I think with Shizuku you can back it up but not restore so that's pretty pointless.

ADB backup is similar to what you want, but it has been deprecated and doesn't work in newer android versions.
