storage encryption

Hi, I am running sense 6 with the lollipop update on my htc one m7 sprint. I was interested in turning on the phone storage encryption option and since there is no turning back once you do it, wanted to know if anyone else has done it and if they noticed significant lag or not.

Anyone with the lollipop update running with phone encryption enabled?

Since most people don't turn on encryption, it may be a while, if ever, before you get an answer. There would be some lag, and the better the encryption, the more the lag, but I have no idea whether, on that phone "more" means a few more microseconds or a few more seconds.

does the encryption come turned on if you factory reset? yes I'm basically trying to figure out of the lag is microseconds or a few seconds.
