Probably silly questions, but here goes... Why are most of the apps stored on the device without the ability to move them to the SD card? On my phone, it says I have 2.38 GB of internal storage available and 29.67 GB available on my SD card. Why so much on my SD card? If I can't store apps there, whats the point of it? Seems like 2.38 GB isn't that much remaining space to store apps, I havent downloaded many at all! Can anyone help with these questions. Thanks! :)

Most apps are stored on the phone, however if the app is a larger app (Dungeon Defenders or Gun Bros for example) they'll download to the SD card by default. Without looking at your SD card I wouldn't be able to tell whats taking up 2gb of space.

The ability to move an app to the SD card depends on that app and/or its developer. Some haven't gotten around to it, some are so small that it's not necessary, some have chosen not to for performance reasons, etc. It varies.

But don't worry - we're all seeing 2.something GB of internal storage straight out of the box. It's not you or the apps you've downloaded. There are a handful of threads floating around explaining why so little of the original 8 GB is showing up - just browse the first few pages of the forum and you should find them.

And lastly, unless you go absolutely crazy with apps, 2.38 GB should be MORE than enough space. ;)

Most apps will store data there, for example Dungeon Defenders after downloading the game it had ~150mb download that ran, those kinda files are stored on the SD card. Same with say ESPN Scorecenter, your team information is stored on the SD card.
