Storage issues

Anyone notice a dramatic drop in internal storage after the update to Android 10? I had at least 11g out of 64g internal siege left... now I'm suddenly down to less than 1g of storage?! I'm confused. I've not downloaded apps, taken photos, added anything. The only change had been the update last week. Anyone else lose their internal storage?

Hi, try to clear cache in recovery , maybe some old files need to be cleaned out .

Ok, I tried to wipe cache from recovery and it didn't work. I then went into the apps to see if I missed something taking up storage.... low & behold there was a "Samsung Members" app taking up 8G of storage. I don't know what it did, why it was there but I deleted it. Problem solved! Now I gotta go Google what that app was, lol.

Samsungs are often filled with bloatware. It's why I got one with 512GB lol. Glad you found out what had eaten your storage though. I may go and check that out for myself.

You didn't have to delete it ,just wipe data and cache . This is the app will get you into beta , make appointments for phone issues etc.

Yea, I researched what it does.... it's definitely not worth all that. "Allows me tip track performance of other devices across countries.... tips to optimize, FAQs,".... nothing I can't find out here if needed. it's ironic that an app that was supposed to help my issues actually was the cause of my issue... SMH Thank you for your help though!
Nothing but bloatware really... All the information can be easily googled. but hey if you like it great... I'm not that into STATS about others usage to leave it...
