storage location on OS running on SD card

I'm testing out a HC version on an SD card, but i'm not sure where i need to put stuff to be seen on an SD Card, like all my titanium backup information to restore them.

It appears to have an SD partition when i look through Root Explorer, my question is how do i get it to that partition via my PC or through the OS on my NC?

When i plug my NC to a USB calbe into my PC the drives "show up" but they don't allow access to them. When i put the SD card into a reader i get the system files, and i can see partitions when i go into drive manager.

Are they partitions just mounts? IE if i open the sdcard folder in windows explorer it will put stuff on the SD partition?

I think so. I certainly can do this on my Mac.

did you turn on the sd at your nook via the notification screen? i had a similiar problem.
