I have a storage problem. Every time I remove a file or or a video or a audio file, I use an app call a storage analyzer, reading on the storage remains the same.

I'll try removing to duplicate files and the same problem persist.

I transfer some of these files to a SD card,I don't know if this creates a problem. I have a galaxy note 8.

Is there a way to solve this problem

Have you sent feedback about this to the app’s developer?

Do these files show up if you look using My Files or other 3rd party file manager apps (like Files by Google or Total Commander)?

How do I find those files in myfiles or google?

I'm not to be able to update the app that I use through googleplay store. They wont install.

How do I find those files in myfiles and google?

Do you know which directory the files that you're deleting are in? If so, just use those file managers to navigate to those specific directories. If you're using Files by Google, make sure you scroll all the way down to Storage Devices and tap Internal Storage (or SD card) to navigate, rather than using one of the Categories that are listed above -- Categories typically aggregate files from different directories that fall within the same class, so it won't show you immediately where exactly the files are located.

I've done what you instructed but when I move the file to the sd card I still don't get all my storage back

Then 3 or 4 weeks later the storage is to its original reading.

I see you used a app that monitors storage , what about the default " My Files" app what's it saying ? You can use this to move files , possible try without sd card and reboot

If you're moving small files, then you probably won't notice a whole lot of difference. Instead of concentrating on media files, try uninstalling some of your big apps, at least temporarily (i.e., the ones that are more than 1 GB in size). Does that have any effect?

Is this Storage Analyzer app a 3rd party one you installed, or did it come with the phone? If it's a 3rd party one, maybe it's a problem with the app. Try uninstalling it and just using the system menus (or the Samsung My Files app) to look at your storage.

Since this problem seems so stubborn, you may just have to back up your important data and do a factory reset.
