Storage Space?

Hey guys this is my first post so hang in there! Just received my one x in the mail today, or should i say yesterday since its past midnight. If you were to get the phone through AT&T and not unlocked, it would be 16GB as opposed to 32GB. Just wanted to know how much the actual usable, available memory is when fully stock with no downloaded apps. I thought it was somewhere around 12.XXGB the last time i checked but mine shows up as 9.67GB right now. I tried to add music to my phone in about the same amount as the difference but it won't appear in the player, and i cannot find them using a file explorer either. So my question to you is if it really is 12.XX or 9.67?

You have about twelve to play with, 2.21 internal, 9.93 phone. As you download apps you can move some,not all, to the phone storage. That free 25gb dropbox would have come in handy but leave it to at&t to drop the ball on that one.

What music player are you using, and are you sure you actually added the music?
Have you configured the music player to search the directories where you placed the music?

Hint: go get Google Play Music. Put all your music in a free google music account on line and just Pin the music you need when off-line to the phone.

Go to the Market and get ES File Explorer. Helps you find stuff on the phone.
