They have to in order to compete. Verizon isn't that much more expensive (after the second line it's cheaper) so ST is no longer close to the cheapest game in town. And with shorter and shorter upgrade periods on contracts, it's almost as if contracts don't exist. You'll probably see more in the future, as the carriers try to overcome ST's 5GB offer.

I nearly jumped over to Cricket last month with the $1 sim card promotion. I would have received 5 GB for the same price I was paying. This brings ST into alignment with Cricket (except for taxes and fees.)

Hell MetroPCS seems like a better deal than that imo. Well I'm a power user so ymmv.
