Straight talk / Samsung question...

Are the STOCK phones from Straight Talk, Samsung(s) in particular, the ones that have issues with updates like the os of the phone. From what I hear, what you buy is what you get, no updates / no nothing.

But what if I was to get an unlocked phone from another carrier, could I get os and security updates. Which happens to be my concern....

Get unlocked. Never know with a carrier phone what, if any updates will come

If you get a carrier variant of a phone, I believe the only time you would get an eligible update is if you have that carrier's sim card in during the process
