straight talk sim unlock

I have an Alcatel A450-TL (which from what i can tell is also called a Pixi Charm, but this is another story) Anyway, i have been trying to use my AT&t sim card with it with no success. I rooted the phone with Kingroot, that didnt work, I also a have an unlock code for this phone. What is confusing to me is that I do not have an option of where to put the sim unlock code in. Everything I have seen has been of a prompt coming up and giving you the option to enter a code, mine does not have this. Can someone please tell me where in gods name i put this thing in?

Hi, when you try to unlock any phone to use with other carriers , it's best to do it on the stock firmware the phone came with , so go back and try that again.

Yes but stay on the stock firmware until its unlocked, talk with your carrier you bought it from.

i got the code from straight talk...i just need to know where to put it. im trying to call alcatel now. it doest prompt me to do anything like all the rest

Usually restart the phone with the new sim and ask for a code
