Strange autocorrect bug

I've been running into a rather annoying bug with my autocorrect. Every time I write dont, rather than auto correcting to don't, it corrects to Dont. Not only that, but it then underlines Dont as a typo because its not in the phone's library (I checked. I have never once, even accidentally, saved Dont as a word.)

I have a moto x running 4.2.2

This happened to me too. Go into settings > apps > Google Keyboard, clear cache, clear data. This will fix it so that predictions are once again based on your gesture-pattern and not strange-*** variations of the word that it randomly chose for you.

Trying to type I.D and it types I'd, aaaaagggggghhhhhhhhh. Want to smash my head with the phone.
