Strange battery issue

I've been having battery life issues since I got the gnex but was hopeful that 4.0.3 would fix it...whenever that might be. However, over the last few weeks I've noticed a major drop when I'm home vs at work.
When I got home today the battery was around 70%- which is pretty impressive for 11 hours, although I primarily use my work phone. Look at the steep drop after 70%. I only used the phone for a few minutes in that time to monitor the battery. Wifi is always on along with 4g. I thought it could be the 4g because I live in a more rural area with a weak 4g signal, so I turned it off. That did nothing.
I use a cradlepoint mbr1200 router with a verizon 4g card for primary internet access, if that matters. GPS and all location services are turned off. Android OS is always the main killer. The screen caught up once I started researching this problem.
Any ideas?

Its possible that the battery just wasnt being read right throughout the day, and the steep drop was the OS catching up to itself. 17 hours seems like a pretty well rounded number for the battery to last with light to moderate usage. If this is the only time it has occurred just watch it for the next few days.

Haven't been home yet and the battery is still going strong.

Just got home. It's not the battery or battery software...

Take a look at my wife's battery drain! I just posted this and didn't see this thread. Not sure why exchange is draining so much battery or why her GNEX is draining so fast.

This actually just started after we bought and installed the extended battery.

Check the data usage of exchange...
I had the same issue... exchange had sucked down half a gig in a few hours...
Killing the battery and making the phone really hot.
Ended up removing my account temporarily

When you re-added the exchange account did this problem stop?

Check if your exchange server is 2003. I had the same problem and found out ICS isn't compatible with 2003... yet.

I didn't charge the phone last night and again there was a major drop. It was dead this morning.

Is your home possibly on the cusp of a 3g/4g area? Constant switching would likely drain your battery quicker. If so, you could always set your radio to 3g only when home. It wont effect your data download speed as long as your on a wifi network.

Otherwise, it's going to be related to some particular app or some settings in a particular app.

Yes it is on the cusp. But it doesn't change things when I turn 4g off. I'm also on the border of 3g, never reaching more than 2 bars with either. Are there router settings that could be affecting it? Could being on the cusp account for such a major drop?

I'll turn 4g and wifi off and see what happens.
