Strange display in upper right corner, looks like operating sys files. How do I get rid of them?

I have done something wrong it would appear. I am new to this Android.
What I have is a display in the upper right corner, very small print, keeps
changing all the time, even when I don't do anything. The files look like they
may be operating sys files. How do I get rid of them? Or hide them I mean.
Forgot to mention, I have an ASUS 4.3 tablet.

Welcome to Android Central! It sound like a Developer Option is turned on. Go to Settings>Developer Options​, and make sure everything is turned off.
